Overview

Amal is hungry and searching for something familiar to eat. The residents of Mabelle Avenue offer a visual parade of favourite dishes, stopping for watermelon, sage tea and Eritrean coffee along the way. Amal finally encounters the scent of sumac and sweets both familiar and heartening, at a final banquet on the grass.
