Subway: Union Station and King Station are the closest accessible subway stations.
Union Station: Take Line 1 Yonge-University to Union Station. Exit to the south-east corner of Yonge Street and Front Street and begin to travel east on Front Street East. The theatre will be on your right and is about 160 meters, or a 2-minute walk from Union Station. Union Station will be your departure point if you are traveling using GO Transit or UP Express.
King Station: Take Line 1 Yonge-University to King Station. Exit to the south-east corner of King Street and Yonge Street and begin to travel south down Yonge Street. Cross to the south side of Front Street East and turn left to begin traveling east. The theatre will be on your right and is about 450 meters, or a 6-minute walk from King Station.
Streetcar: Take the 504 King streetcar to King Street East at Church Street. This streetcar can be accessed anywhere along King Street or specifically at King Station, St. Andrew Station, and Broadview Station. Get off at Church Street and travel south on Church Street towards Front Street East. Cross to the south side of Front Street East and turn right. The venue will be on your left and is about 650 meters or a 6-minute walk from the streetcar stop.
Bus: Take the 19 Bay, the 72 Pape, or the 121 Esplanade-River bus to get off at Bay Street and Front Street West. Travel east along Front Street towards Scott Street. The theatre will be on your right and is about 350 meters or a 5-minute walk from the bus stop.
Taxi + Wheel-Trans: The Bluma Appel Theatre is located in downtown Toronto at 27 Front Street East at the corner of Front Street East and Scott Street. There is enough room for vehicles to make pickups and drop-offs as well as a curb cut directly in front of the main entrance to the theatre on Front Street East.
There is no parking on-site; however, there is limited metered parking on nearby side streets and a paid parking garage at 1 Scott Street just 120 meters or a 1-minute walk south of the venue. Exit the parking garage onto Scott and turn right to head north. Turn right onto Front Street East. The venue will be on your right.
